She began her professional career as an amateur athlete participating in various regional promotion before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Following her joining of in the UFC in 2011 she was known as a household name due to the success that she enjoyed both inside and outside of an octagon. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was brought up by a Lithuanian family. Rose participated in sports such as basketball and kickboxing while growing up. When she was 18 years old, she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships where she took two wins through submission. Dana White was impressed and brought Rose into UFC's strawweight division when she was the age of 22 in December of 2014. Through Rose s career she has gone through periods of both extremes and lows, but every time coming out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA historical with her fight because she became the first woman to challenge in a title fight within any organization of note. Namajunas won a number of bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. This brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night recognition from UFC.
