Best known for the part as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and 4 Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. The same character was played by her in the film Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 2010. Also, she is known for her role as the lead in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's.
